- 1-2 pork tenderloins
- 4 c. coarsely shredded cabbage (about 1 head)
- 3 tart apples, cored and diced
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 2 tsp. salt
Methods:
- Season pork lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place cabbage, apples and onions in the crock pot.
- Add remaining ingredients except pork.
- Toss together well to evenly distribute spices.
- Arrange pork on top of cabbage mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
